Biography
Steve Schirripa is an American actor, regularly credited as Steven R. Schirripa. Born on 3 September 1957 in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, New York City, he graduated from Brooklyn College before working as an entertainment director at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
He is best known for portraying Bobby 'Bacala' Baccalieri on the HBO series The Sopranos (2000–2007). Other prominent television roles include Leo Boykewich on The Secret Life of the American Teenager (2008–2013) and Detective Anthony Abetemarco on Blue Bloods (2014–2024). He has also voiced Roberto in the Open Season film series and hosted Investigation Discovery programmes including Karma's a Btch! and Nothing Personal*.
