Biography
Steven Melching is an American television and film writer, also credited as Buzz Alden. He attended the University of Southern California School of Cinema-Television and began his professional career in 1993 writing for the X-Men animated series.
Melching wrote the screenplay for the 2008 animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars and contributed multiple episodes to the accompanying television series, as well as to Star Wars Rebels and Star Wars Resistance. His other credits include episodes of The Batman, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Transformers: Prime, X-Men, Jackie Chan Adventures and Power Rangers. He is an Emmy-nominated and Writers Guild of America-nominated writer.
He created the internet parody short TROOPS and has written dialogue for Star Wars video games and issues of the Dark Horse Star Wars: The Clone Wars comic series. He has also served as a story editor and producer on several animated projects.
