Biography
Steven V. Silver is an American television cinematographer specialising in multi-camera comedy series. He has served as director of photography on Two and a Half Men (2003–2013), The Big Bang Theory (2007–2019) and Mom (2013–2021).
Earlier credits include Dharma & Greg (1997–2002). He began his career in the camera department as an assistant and operator before moving into cinematography. Silver has also directed one episode of Dharma & Greg.
He is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers. Silver won three Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Cinematography for a Multi-Camera Series, all for episodes of Two and a Half Men, and has received numerous further nominations for his work on that series and others.
