Biography
Stewart Arnott is a Canadian actor with credits in film, television and theatre. He is credited under the alternative spelling Stuart Arnott on some productions.
Arnott graduated with an Honours BFA in Theatre Performance from York University in 1977. He performed with the Stratford Festival acting company for three seasons and later returned as an assistant director. He has been a founding member of several Canadian theatre companies and has worked across regional and independent stages.
On screen, Arnott is known for his role as Bernard in The Shape of Water (2017). Other film and television appearances include RoboCop (2014), Schitt's Creek (2015–2018), Suits (2018), Private Eyes (2018) and Designated Survivor (2017). He has also directed stage productions and taught at theatre schools.
