Biography
Stuart Hazeldine is a British screenwriter, film producer and director. Born on 10 June 1971 in Surrey, England, he studied American History at the University of Kent and the University of Massachusetts Amherst before selling his first screenplay in 1995.
His early produced credit was the teleplay for the science-fiction television film Riverworld (2003). He made his feature directorial debut with the psychological thriller Exam (2009), which he also wrote and produced. The film received a nomination for the BAFTA Award for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer.
Hazeldine later directed the faith-based drama The Shack (2017). He resides in London.
