Biography
Stuart Wells (born 18 September 1982) is an English former actor and soldier. He is best known for playing Michael Caffrey in the film Billy Elliot (2000).
Wells appeared in the television series Peak Practice (2001–2002) and the film The Reckoning (2004). In 2001 he left acting to join the British Army's 1st Battalion, Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. He left the army in 2008 with the rank of corporal after three operational tours, including two in Iraq. His brother John is also a former soldier.
