Biography
Stuart Zicherman is a writer, producer and director working primarily in television and film. He wrote four episodes of the FX series The Americans (2013) and served as consulting producer and co-executive producer on the show. His other television credits include writing and producing on The Affair (2014), Sweetbitter (2018), Divorce (2016) and Alaska Daily (2022), as well as creating and showrunning American Sports Story (2024).
On the feature side, Zicherman wrote the screenplay for Elektra (2005) and made his directorial debut with the comedy A.C.O.D. (2013), which he also wrote and produced; the film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. He has directed an ESPN 30 for 30 documentary, The Great Trade Robbery, and is adapting the French comedy Maman Au Papa for Netflix.
Zicherman is based in New York. He attended Skidmore College and USC film school.
