Biography
Sue Herring was an American television writer. She received writing credits on four episodes of the series Cheers between 1988 and 1992. She also wrote episodes of The Tracey Ullman Show (1987, as Susan Herring), Almost Perfect (1995–1997), Becker (1998) and Throb (1987).
Herring worked in additional crew roles on Cheers from 1984 to 1993, including as story editor and assistant to the producers. She began in assistant positions on series such as Taxi (1982–1983) and Shaping Up (1984). She was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for her writing on The Tracey Ullman Show.
