Biography
Sue Yelland, also credited as Susan Yelland, is a British costume designer. Born in August 1936, she began working in film and television in the late 1960s, initially as a wardrobe supervisor on Accident (1967) and Our Mother's House (1967). She received her first solo costume design credit on the cult horror film The Wicker Man (1973).
Her subsequent credits include Superman II (1980), Before the Rain (1994) and the television miniseries The Two Mrs. Grenvilles (1987), for which she received a Primetime Emmy nomination. She has worked extensively in British television, with long-running credits on series such as Kavanagh QC (1995–1999).
