Biography

Sullivan Stapleton is an Australian actor. He was born on 14 June 1977 in Melbourne, Victoria.

Stapleton trained at St Martins Theatre and studied drama at Sandringham Secondary College. He began acting in the 1990s and appeared in Australian television series including Neighbours and The Secret Life of Us.

He is known for his role as Craig Cody in the film Animal Kingdom (2010), Sgt Damien Scott in the series Strike Back (2010–2018), Kurt Weller in Blindspot (2015–2020), and Themistocles in 300: Rise of an Empire (2014). In 2013 he received a Breakthrough Award from Australians in Film.
