Biography
Suresh Ayyar was an Australian editor who worked in film, television and documentaries. Born in Sydney in 1957, he began his career in the late 1970s and contributed to numerous Australian productions over more than three decades.
His credits include the feature films Bad Boy Bubby (1993), The Interview (1998), Danny Deckchair (2003), Romulus, My Father (2007) and Iron Sky (2012), as well as episodes of the series Farscape (1999). He also edited documentaries and received four Australian Film Institute awards for editing, with nine nominations in total.
Ayyar died in Sydney in 2016.
