Biography
Susan Egan is an American actress, singer and dancer. She originated the role of Belle in the Broadway musical Beauty and the Beast (1994), receiving nominations for the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical and the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical. While performing in the production she was cast as the voice of Megara in the 1997 Disney animated film Hercules.
Egan has provided voices for other animated projects including Rose Quartz and additional characters in the series Steven Universe (2013–2019) and Steven Universe Future (2019). Her live-action credits include appearances in the films 13 Going on 30 (2004) and Galaxy Quest (1999), and episodes of the series House (2004), Modern Family (2009) and Numb3rs (2005).
