Susan Kelechi Watson is an American actress. She was born on 11 November 1981 in Brooklyn, New York. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Howard University and a Master of Fine Arts from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
Watson is known for her role as Beth Pearson in the series This Is Us (2016–2022). She had recurring roles in Louie (2012–2014), NCIS (2003) and The Blacklist (2013). Her film credits include Andrea Vogel in A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019). In 2025 she played Jasmine Haney in the series The Residence.
