Biography
Susan Wokoma is a British actress, writer and director. Born on 31 December 1987 in London, she participated in CBBC's Serious Jungle in 2002 and was a member of the National Youth Theatre before training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating in 2010.
She played Cynthia Gordon in the series Chewing Gum (2015–2017) and Raquel in Crazyhead (2016). Other television credits include Jessica in Crashing (2016), Helen in Truth Seekers (2020) and Fola in Cheaters (2022–2024). Film roles include Edith in Enola Holmes (2020) and Enola Holmes 2 (2022), and Della in The Inbetweeners 2 (2014).
Wokoma won the RTS Best On-Screen Performance award for Crazyhead in 2017 and was named a BAFTA Breakthrough Brit the same year. She has also written and directed short films.
