Biography

Susana Benaim is a picture editor and director. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, she moved to Los Angeles in 2013. She completed an American Cinema Editors internship, which led to work as an assistant editor before advancing to editor.

She has edited episodes of the limited series Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker (2020) and The Dropout (2022), as well as series including Mayans M.C. (2018–2019), David Makes Man (2021) and Clipped (2024). She has also worked on National Treasure: Edge of History (2023) and the feature Hurricanna (2025).

Benaim is co-chair of the Latin Steering Committee of the Editors Guild. She received one award nomination.
