Biography
Svenja Jung is a German actress born on 28 May 1993 in Weroth, Rhineland-Palatinate. She took acting lessons at the Juniorhouse in Cologne while completing her Abitur in 2012 and later studied European media science at Fachhochschule Potsdam until 2019.
Jung first gained wider recognition for her role as Lisa Brück in the soap opera Unter uns (2014–2015). She went on to appear in leading parts in the films Fucking Berlin (2016) and Center of My World (2016). Other notable credits include Sonja Tannhaus in Dark (2020), Nicole Zangen in Deutschland 89 (2020), and roles in The Empress (2022–2024), Baghead (2023) and Crooks (2024). She received a nomination for the New Faces Award in 2017 and won the Bayerischer Filmpreis for best young actress in 2018.
