Biography
Sverre Sørdal is a Norwegian cinematographer based in London. He trained at the National Film and Television School and has worked on features, shorts and documentaries.
His credits include County Lines (2019), A Perfectly Normal Family (2020), Unruly (2022) and Sister Midnight (2024). He shot the latter on 35mm film in Mumbai; the film premiered at the Cannes Directors' Fortnight. Sørdal received an IMAGO nomination for Best Emerging Cinematographer in 2020 for County Lines and won Best Cinematography from the Dublin Film Critics' Circle in 2025 for Sister Midnight.
