Biography
Sylvia Stoker was an English actress. Born on 7 June 1911 in Newcastle upon Tyne, she appeared in supporting and guest roles on British television from the early 1970s onwards.
Her credits include parts in Rising Damp (1974), The Liver Birds (1978), House of Caradus (1979), Juliet Bravo (1981), Coronation Street (1985 and 1994) and Last of the Summer Wine (1985). She played Granny Beckett in the 1984 BBC television film Threads.
Stoker died on 13 October 1994 in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
