Biography

T. W. Peacocke is a Canadian television and film director. Born in 1960 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was raised in Canada and holds dual Canadian and United States citizenship. He graduated magna cum laude from Yale University with a degree in history in 1983, studied at New York University Tisch School of the Arts, and attended Université de Caen in France.

Peacocke has directed more than 200 episodes across over 30 television series, including seven episodes of Schitt's Creek in 2017, ten episodes of Haven, thirteen of North of 60, and the mini-series Canada Russia '72. He has also worked as a producer and appeared as an actor in several productions. His awards include a Canadian Screen Award, a Directors Guild of Canada award, and two Canadian Comedy Awards.
