Biography
Takashi Tsukamoto (塚本高史) is a Japanese actor, singer and model. Born on 27 October 1982 in Hachioji, Tokyo, he entered the entertainment industry in 1996 after winning a talent contest and made his acting debut the following year in the television drama Shokuinshitsu.
Tsukamoto is best known for his role as Shinji Mimura (Boy #19) in the 2000 film Battle Royale. His other notable film credits include Outrage (2010), Midnight Sun (2006) and Blue Spring (2001). He has also appeared in television series such as Gokusen (2002) and Kamen Rider Gavv (2024–2025).
In addition to acting, Tsukamoto has released three singles as a singer: "Itsudemo Boku wa", "Hitorigoto" and "New Morning". He provided both the voice and likeness for the character Gion Toji in the video game Ryū ga Gotoku Kenzan!.
