Biography
Takeshi Kusao (草尾 毅) is a Japanese voice actor, actor and singer. He was born on 20 November 1965 in Tokorozawa, Saitama, and is affiliated with Aoni Production. He made his voice acting debut in 1987 and first gained notice for voicing Kai in the 1988 film Akira.
Kusao is best known for voicing Trunks (including Future Trunks and Gotenks) in the Dragon Ball series, beginning with Dragon Ball Z in 1989 and continuing through Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Super and related films. Other notable roles include Hanamichi Sakuragi in Slam Dunk (1993), Ryo Sanada in Yoroiden Samurai Troopers (1988) and Jaguar D. Saul in One Piece.
