Biography
Shan Tam, also credited as Tam Chi-San, is a Hong Kong-born producer based in Vancouver, Canada. She has worked in film and television production across Hong Kong, China, Canada and Australia, often on co-productions.
Tam began her career in the 1980s as an assistant director and production manager on Hong Kong films. She is a producer on the action film The Furious (2025) and served as co-producer on Finding Mr. Right (2013). Other credits include Lost in Russia (2020) and Shanghai Fortress (2019).
She runs the production companies Holiday Pictures and Maple Ridge Films with her husband Michael Parker. Her work has received awards and nominations including a Special Jury Prize at Sundance for Eve and the Fire Horse (2005) and several Leo Awards.
