Biography
Tamara Conboy is an Irish production designer and art director. An honours graduate of one of Ireland's leading art colleges, she began her career in graphic design and art direction, working on films including Space Truckers (1996), The Medallion (2003), In America (2002), Bloom (2003), King Arthur (2004) and Isolation (2005).
She transitioned to production design full time with Once (2007), directed by John Carney. Subsequent credits as production designer include Cairo Time (2009), Dark Touch (2013) and Herself (2020). She has also served as art director on Sing Street (2016), Frank (2014) and I Kill Giants (2017). Conboy was a jury member for the production design category at the IFTA awards in 2007 and has received one win and two nominations for her work.
