Biography
Tamara Taylor is a Canadian actress. Born on 27 September 1970 in Toronto, Ontario, she is best known for portraying Dr Camille Saroyan, head of the Forensic Division, on the series Bones (2006–2017). She joined the show as a recurring guest star in the second-season premiere and became a series regular after audience response to the character proved strong.
Taylor began her career as a model before moving into television, with early roles including appearances on Party of Five and City of Angels. She has had guest and recurring parts on series such as Lost (2005), NCIS (2005–2006), CSI: Miami, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2020, as Sibyl) and Law & Order: Organized Crime (2021–2022, as Angela Wheatley). Film credits include Diary of a Mad Black Woman (2005) and Serenity (2005).
