Biography
Tanay Hemant Chheda is an Indian actor. Born on 27 June 1996 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, he began his career as a child actor with a role in the 2006 film Don.
He is known for his performances as Rajan Damodaran in Like Stars on Earth (2007), Middle Jamal in Slumdog Millionaire (2008), and young Rizwan Khan in My Name Is Khan (2010). As part of the ensemble cast of Slumdog Millionaire, he shared in the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. He later appeared as Musa in the 2011 German film Lilly the Witch: The Journey to Mandolan. He attended Choate Rosemary Hall.
