Biography
Tawanda Manyimo is a Zimbabwean-born New Zealand actor. Born in Bulawayo in 1981, he moved to New Zealand at the age of 22 and graduated from Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School in 2011 with a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Acting). He is also a musician who plays guitar and percussion instruments.
Manyimo's screen credits include the role of Caleb in The Rover (2014), the Congolese Singer in Slow West (2015), Borma in Ghost in the Shell (2017), Marks in The Meg (2018), Dutch in the series Sweet Tooth (2021–2023), Austin in Loop Track (2023), and a Caravan Guard in Time Bandits (2024). He has also worked as a stunt performer.
