Biography
Teresa Ruiz is a Mexican actress. She was born on 21 December 1988 in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca, and moved to Los Angeles at the age of 13, where she later trained in theatre.
Ruiz began her career in Mexico with roles including Cecilia Rojas in Bordertown (2007). She is known for Isabella Bautista in Narcos: Mexico (2018–2020), Maria in the series Mo (2022–2025), Carmen in Father Stu (2022) and Rosa in The Marksman (2021). She has received several international Best Actress awards, including for Viaje Redondo (2009), and is a lifetime member of the Actors Studio.
