Biography
Terry Curtis Fox is an American writer, playwright and professor. He began his television career as a story editor and writer on the series Hill Street Blues in 1986. He later contributed episodes to Stargate SG-1, Diagnosis: Murder, The Hunger (on which he served as co-show runner) and other series, and co-wrote the screenplay for the feature film Fortress (1992).
Fox has also written plays including Cops, first produced by the Organic Theatre in Chicago, and Justice, staged at Playwrights Horizons in New York. He worked for many years as a theatre critic for the Chicago Reader and the Village Voice. He has taught screenwriting at Western Carolina University and served on the board of the Writers Guild of America, west.
