Biography
Terry Kilburn is an English-American actor. Born Terence Edward Kilburn on 25 November 1926 in West Ham, Essex, England, he moved to Hollywood with his family as a child and began appearing in films in the mid-1930s.
He is known for his roles as a child actor in A Christmas Carol (1938), in which he played Tiny Tim, and Goodbye, Mr. Chips (1939), in which he portrayed four generations of the Colley family. Other early credits include Lord Jeff (1938), The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (1939) and Swiss Family Robinson (1940). He continued acting in films such as National Velvet (1944) and Lolita (1962), as well as television, until the late 1960s.
From 1970 to 1994 Kilburn served as artistic director of the Meadow Brook Theatre in Rochester, Michigan.
