Biography
Tetsuya Iwanaga is a Japanese voice actor. He was born on 24 June 1970 in Kichijoji, Musashino, Tokyo.
He trained at the Japan Narration Acting Institute. Iwanaga is known for voicing Kensuke Aida in the television series Neon Genesis Evangelion (1995) and the subsequent films Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone (2007), Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance (2009) and Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time (2021). Other notable roles include Marik Ishtar in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters (2000) and Tomohisa Kaname in Puella Magi Madoka Magica (2011) and its films.
He has been affiliated with Plandas and previously with agencies including Arts Vision and Max Mix.
