Biography
Thierry Frémont is a French actor. He trained at the Cours Florent under Francis Huster and at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique in Paris, where he studied with Daniel Mesguich and Philippe Adrien. He has also worked with Jack Waltzer of the Actors Studio.
Frémont made his screen debut in the mid-1980s. He received the César Award for Most Promising Actor in 1988 for his performance in Travelling avant. He is known for roles in films including Femme Fatale (2002) as Serra, The Round Up (2010) as Capitaine Pierret, The French Minister (2013) as Guillaume Van Effentem, Allied (2016) as Paul Delamare, and Das Boot (2018) as Pierre Duval. In 2005 he became the first French actor to win an International Emmy Award for Best Actor, for portraying serial killer Francis Heaulme in the television film Dans la tête du tueur.
