Biography
Thomas Bangalter is a French musician, record producer and composer. He is best known as one half of the electronic music duo Daft Punk, alongside Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo.
Bangalter was born on 3 January 1975 in Paris. He has composed scores for several films, including Irréversible (2002) and Climax (2018), both directed by Gaspar Noé. With Daft Punk he provided the soundtrack for TRON: Legacy (2010). Following the duo's split in 2021, he has released solo orchestral work such as the ballet score Mythologies (2023).
