Biography
Thomas Favel is a French cinematographer. He trained in the cinematography department at La Fémis, graduating in the 18th promotion around 2007. He is a member of the Association Française des Cinématographes (AFC).
Favel has collaborated repeatedly with director Davy Chou, serving as cinematographer on Diamond Island (2016) and Return to Seoul (2022), the latter selected for Un Certain Regard at Cannes. His other feature credits include Gaz de France (2015) and All About Yves (2019). He has also worked on documentaries and shorts.
