Biography
Thomas L. Miller was an American film and television producer. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he began his career as an assistant to director Billy Wilder and worked as a development executive at Paramount and 20th Century Fox. He co-founded Miller-Milkis Productions with Edward K. Milkis.
The company produced the feature films Silver Streak (1976) and Foul Play (1978). In 1979 Miller formed Miller/Boyett Productions with Robert L. Boyett; their partnership produced the sitcoms Full House (1987–1995), Family Matters (1989–1998), Perfect Strangers and Step by Step. Miller also produced the 1982 musical film The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.
He died on 5 April 2020 in Salisbury, Connecticut.
