Biography
Thomas Petersen, also credited as Thomas Baxley Petersen, is a cinematographer and producer. He worked as director of photography on the documentary Dinosaur 13 (2014), directed by Todd Douglas Miller. He later produced Apollo 11 (2019) under his alternative credit and Apollo 11: Quarantine (2021).
Petersen has additional credits in camera and electrical departments on feature films and has produced television series including Black Gold (2022). He shares producing credits with Miller on several projects. Apollo 11 received multiple awards and nominations, including a Producers Guild of America Award for Outstanding Producer of Documentary Theatrical Motion Pictures.
