Biography
Tim 'Nailer' Foley is an American activist and founder of the volunteer group Arizona Border Recon. He is featured as himself in the 2015 documentary film Cartel Land, directed by Matthew Heineman, which follows his work patrolling the US-Mexico border alongside a parallel story of vigilantes in Mexico.
Foley has appeared in other television programmes and films, including Trump's War on the Border (2017) as himself and episodes of Jesse Watters Primetime (2024) and Spiegel TV Magazin (2018). Prior to his border work, he served in the US Army's 82nd Airborne Division in the late 1970s and worked in construction.
