Biography
Tim Sanders is an Australian-born film producer based in New Zealand. He studied film as part of an arts degree at Flinders University in Adelaide during the 1970s.
He began his career in Australia as a unit manager and production manager before producing feature films and television. Sanders worked on Peter Jackson's The Frighteners (1996) and served as a producer on The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001). He later produced Whale Rider (2002) and other New Zealand productions including Perfect Creature (2007).
Sanders has won two BAFTA Awards, an Australian Film Institute Award and an MTV Award, and received a Golden Globe nomination.
