Biography
Timothy Bond (born 19 February 1942) is a Canadian director and screenwriter. He studied at Carleton University in Ottawa and began his career directing stage productions in Canada, the United States and England, including work as an assistant director at the Stratford Festival. He later moved into film and television.
Bond is known for directing episodes of numerous television series, including Star Trek: The Next Generation (1989–1990), Friday the 13th: The Series (1987–1989), Goosebumps (1995–1996), Sliders (1995), Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1995–1996), The Outer Limits (1995) and Mutant X (2001–2004). His feature film credits include the screenplay for Happy Birthday to Me (1981) and direction of The Lost World (1992) and its sequel Return to the Lost World (1992). He has also directed several television movies.
Bond received Gemini Award nominations for his work on Friday the 13th: The Series and Top Cops.
