Biography
Tina Satter is an American playwright, theatre director and filmmaker. She is the founder and artistic director of the experimental theatre company Half Straddle, formed in 2008.
Satter wrote and directed the 2023 film Reality, adapted from her play Is This a Room. The film depicts the FBI interrogation of whistleblower Reality Winner. She received a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2020 and a Peabody Award for the film.
