Biography
Todd Bartels is a screenwriter and actor. He wrote the screenplay for the 2026 biographical film Tony, directed by Matt Johnson and based on stories from Anthony Bourdain's memoir Kitchen Confidential, in collaboration with Lou Howe, Johnson and Matthew Miller.
Bartels previously co-wrote the screenplay for Dumb Blonde with Lou Howe. As an actor, his credits include the role of Aide #1 in the 2013 television series The Americans and appearances in several short films and features such as Baked in Brooklyn (2016).
