Biography
Todd C. Ramsay is an American film editor. He began his career in the editorial department, working as an assistant or associate editor on That's Entertainment! (1974), Lipstick (1976) and The Car (1977). His first credit as lead editor was on Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979), on which he also provided a voice performance.
Ramsay edited two films directed by John Carpenter: Escape from New York (1981) and The Thing (1982). Subsequent feature credits include Black Moon Rising (1986), Malone (1987), The Exorcist III (1990), The Minus Man (1999) and Finding Home (2003), for which he received the Grand Prize for Best Editing at the Rhode Island International Film Festival. He has also edited episodes of the television series Roswell (2001).
