Biography
Todd Eckert is an American film producer. Born on 26 November 1967 in Syracuse, New York, he began his career as a music journalist before moving into film production.
He is best known as one of the producers of the 2007 biographical film Control, directed by Anton Corbijn and based on Deborah Curtis’s book Touching from a Distance. Eckert developed the project over four years with co-producer Orian Williams. He has also produced the short films Dotted Lines (2003) and The Dead Couple (2013), and served as co-producer on My Friends Told Me About You (2008). He works as a media financier and has collaborated on video game development.
