Biography
Todd Tobias is an American multi-instrumentalist, record producer and composer. He is best known for his long collaboration with Robert Pollard, including work with Guided by Voices and the psychedelic rock trio Circus Devils.
Tobias began producing albums in 2002 and has contributed to numerous Pollard-related projects. He played drums, bass, guitar and keyboards, and produced, on Pollard's 2005 EP Music for "Bubble", the soundtrack companion to Steven Soderbergh's film Bubble (2005).
Since 2012 Tobias has released a series of solo instrumental albums on Hidden Shoal Recordings, ranging from ambient to post-rock. He composed and directed the experimental film I Razor (2013) and its accompanying soundtrack.
