Biography
Toheeb Jimoh is a British-Nigerian actor. He was born on 15 April 1997 in Brixton, London, to parents of Nigerian descent. He attended The Norwood School and trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, graduating in 2018.
Jimoh is known for playing Sam Obisanya in the Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso (2020–2023), for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. Other roles include Anthony Walker in the BBC film Anthony (2020), Marcus in the series The Feed (2019), Tunde Ojo in The Power (2023) and Kwabena Bannerman in Industry (2020–). He appeared as Cadet #1 in the film The French Dispatch (2021).
On stage, Jimoh has performed in A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Sheffield Crucible, Nine Lessons and Carols at the Almeida Theatre and Romeo and Juliet at the Almeida Theatre.
