Biography
Tom Anderson is an American television writer and producer. He began working on the sitcom Cheers (1982–1993) as a writer and executive story editor, later serving as co-producer, supervising producer and executive producer on its final seasons.
Anderson wrote for and was executive producer on Living Single (1993–1998). He created The Jeff Foxworthy Show (1995–1997) and contributed to series including Newhart, Something Wilder, George & Leo and Kevin Can Wait. He won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series for Cheers and received three further nominations in the category.
