Biography
Tom Blomquist is a television writer, producer and director. He wrote the Farscape episode 'DNA Mad Scientist' (1999) and contributed episodes or stories to series including The A-Team (1983), Quantum Leap (1989), Walker, Texas Ranger (1993), Hardcastle and McCormick (1983), Freddy's Nightmares (1988) and Werewolf (1987). He also served as producer on Riptide (1984), Swamp Thing (1990) and Christy (1994).
After graduating from Southern Illinois University in 1972, Blomquist moved to Los Angeles and worked on the NBC talk show Tomorrow with Tom Snyder. He later taught film and television production at California State University, Long Beach, where he is Professor Emeritus, and co-authored the textbook Eye of the Storm: Directing for Film, Television & Emerging Media (2013). He has written novels including Silent Partners.
