Biography
Tom Budge is an Australian actor. Born on 15 March 1982 in Melbourne, Victoria, he began his career with recurring roles in Australian television series including Neighbours and regular parts in children's series Round the Twist (2001–2002) and Shock Jock (2001–2002).
His film credits include The Proposition (2005) as Samuel Stoat, Candy (2006), Son of a Gun (2014) as Josh, Judy & Punch (2019) as Mr Frankly, and Better Man (2024) as Guy Chambers. He has also appeared in television series such as Wentworth, Upright (as Geert), The Artful Dodger (as Hon. Mortimer Smales) and The Doctor Blake Mysteries. Some television roles are credited under the name Thomas Ersatz.
Budge received AACTA and Film Critics Circle of Australia nominations for his supporting role in Last Train to Freo (2006). He has twice been nominated for the Helpmann Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Play.
