Biography
Tom Dempsey was an American actor born on 20 January 1868 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He appeared in numerous films and short subjects from the 1920s to the 1940s, frequently in uncredited supporting roles.
His credits include the Boxer (uncredited) in Charlie Chaplin's City Lights (1931), as well as The Bush Leaguer (1927), The Singing Plumber (1932) and Elmer and Elsie (1934). He died on 6 October 1947 in Los Angeles, California.
