Biography
Tom Devanney is an American television writer and producer. He was born on 13 March 1952 in Manchester, Connecticut.
Devanney began his career writing for sitcoms including Perfect Strangers (1986), for which he also served as producer, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990), contributing three episodes as writer and working as producer. He later wrote for Thea (1993) and other series such as Shaky Ground and Malcolm & Eddie.
Since 2005, Devanney has been a writer and producer on the animated series Family Guy (1999), joining as a staff writer following the show's revival and advancing to executive producer. He has written or co-written numerous episodes and is credited as co-executive producer on the crossover episode with The Simpsons.
