Biography
Tom Provost is an American screenwriter, director and actor. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin’s Plan II Honors program, with emphases in English literature and film, before moving to Los Angeles.
His screenwriting credits include the screenplay for Under Suspicion (2000), which received an Edgar Award nomination, and co-writing Young Washington (2026). He also wrote and directed The Presence (2010). Provost has taught film directing and screen acting at Pepperdine University and Chapman University.
